On the basis of the recommendation of the GST council the tax rates on the covid 19 essential items has been reduced. GST on medicines for treating black fungus, Tocilizumab and Amphotericin B is completely waived off earlier it was 5 percent. The integrated tax on following medical essentials will be 5 percent beginning from 14th June, 2021 and ending with the 30th September, 2021. (The CGST and SGST will be 2.5 respectively).
