Section 1 of The Hindu Minority and Guardianship Act, 1956 View Chapter 0

Short title and extent.

(1) This Act may be called the Hindu Minority and Guardianship Act, 1956.

(2) It extends to the whole of India 1*** and applies also to Hindus domiciled in the territories to which this Act extends who are outside the said territories.
